A Date with a Book

Originally posted at A Date with a BookI loved the location in the Dominican Republic. I enjoyed this tropical location especially since the weather has started turning colder here. I also loved the theme of baseball. I'm not a sports fan by any means, but do enjoy a cozy mystery with an enjoyable theme.Cat McDaniel was a great main character. Great laughter as she hooks up with Paige Aiken, daughter of General Manager Roger Aiken, a baseball legend. While trying to prove herself, she gets to babysit the little one for Roger and keep her out of trouble. This duo, while I guess you can call them a duo, are quite hilarious at times. Not sure if they should like each other or not, their times together are quite a laugh.The mystery was well crafted and took me a while to guess who did it. Sometimes the obvious is the obvious? All in all, this book is a great read. Whether you like cozies, mysteries, or books about sports, this book is definitely worth the read.
